Talking about hard things requires a floor of safety. Here is what you can rely on.
Conversations are private by default
Messages are only readable by the two people in them. Nothing you write in a conversation appears on your profile or in search.
You decide how reachable you are
Set your availability, cap how many open requests you'll take, and limit requests to signed-in members in Settings. You can decline any request without a reason.
Block and report
Blocking stops all requests and messages between two people, immediately and permanently. Reports go straight to moderators, who can suspend accounts and unpublish content.
